A research fellow on forced displacement focusing on the acculturation of urban refugees and their consumption of media in the process of cultural adaptation. She is also a lecturer and director of International relations at St. Augustine University of Tanzania in Mwanza, in the Faculty of Social Science, Public Relations and Advertising department. Her area of research is in Acculturation and Interpersonal communication; these are key areas that affect any migrant.
