Prof. Penine Uwimbabazi holds a Doctoral degree from the university of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Where she served as post graduate and research assistant and is specialised in public policy analysis and conflict transformation. Her previous academic position include being a Director of Quality Assurance, and Deputy Vice Chancellor for academic and Research, and recently the Vice Chancellor of the Protestant University of Rwanda. Morever, Uwimbabazi is the president of the East African Community A cademic and Research Network (EACANRI), and is a recognized facilitator and trainer of Alternative to Violence (AVP), None Violence Communication (NVC) and conflict transformation.
